How to make Appointments

An appointment is necessary and can be booked with our reception staff.  Please call (03) 5100 7722 between 9am and 5 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. If your call is not answered, please leave your name and contact details and our reception staff will contact you to arrange appointment.  We are able to offer early appointments for new or changing spots- please advise our reception when you make your appointment.

 

No referral is required for an appointment with our doctor.

 

 

Fees

  • Fee is either $90 with a Medicare Rebate $39.10( may change with time)  or $130.00 with a Medicare Rebate $75.75 (may change with time) depending on the length of the consultation.  We will lodge a claim with Medicare on your behalf immediately.  However, we lodge the claim on-line and it can take up to 48 hours for the Medicare rebate to be paid into your account.

 

Any additional costs for procedures or treatments carried during consultation like biopsy or cryotherpay of more than 10 lesions will be advised on the day. If a small procedure or treatment is required, this can often be done during the same consultation, however more complex procedures may require a separate appointment.

 

If financial issues are a restriction for accessing this clinic, talk to our reception, you can still access skin cancer services but FotoFinder system will not be used.

 

We ask that patients who cannot make their appointment time to ring (03) 5100 7722 to cancel and give at least 24 hours notice.

 

Payment Method:

Payments can be made by Eftpos, Cheque, Mastercard or Visa.  We are unable to accept American Express Cards.

 

 

Transfer or Copy of Medical File:

Obtaining a copy of your full medical file is not necessary. However, any skin related medical history can be helpful in assessing your risk of skin cancer and developing an appropriate management program.
