EGSCC is a privately owned and operated dedicated skin cancer clinic.  We do not offer general practice services. East Gippsland Skin Cancer Clinic is a separate clinic to Gippsland Lakes Complete Health -Metung which is a general practice clinic run from the same building.

“We strive  to achieve best outcomes for our patients by providing high quality primary skin cancer service through evidence based skin cancer prevention advice, early and accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of skin cancer in the primary setting including guiding our patients through all treatment options available .  The key goal is detecting skin cancer early in order to minimize the impact of skin cancer on our patients and their families."

We are all aware that prevention is better than cure and the most important prevention measure for skin cancer is to prevent sun damage. However, if there is risk of skin cancer due to sun damage or any other risk factor, the next step to minimize the impact of skin cancer, is early detection and appropriate and timely treatment. Therefore, we strongly recommend total skin checks for people who are concerned about their risk of skin cancer. We also recommend that all adults over 40 have a skin check to assess their risk of skin cancer and develop appropriate management program. Patients who are at high risk for skin cancer should have regular skin checks.
